Weird. Who are you? And does my husband read your blog, or does my computer? More weirdness. But I have to agree with all my heart that Morgan Harris was my least favorite part in one of my favorite movies. Oh how I love Marilla.Jannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04762247898555199903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6651110500363613502.post-56695720020915603412009-02-10T08:04:00.000-08:002009-02-10T08:04:00.000-08:00Yeah, I never got the reasoning for the Roy Garner...Yeah, I never got the reasoning for the Roy Garner/Morgan Harris switch-up. I agree that Roy is a way better foil for Gilbert, because he was so humorless and un-fun, which painted Gilbert in a way more flattering light.
And yeah, Gil and Christine were never engaged, but remember that part in (is it Anne of Ingleside) when she comes back all divorced up and puts the moves on Gilbert? That vixen.Valeriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03724496102571383231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6651110500363613502.post-12500168230128183322009-02-09T09:59:00.000-08:002009-02-09T09:59:00.000-08:00Love it. Unfortunately his attitude was far less Gilbert than his looks.

But oh that there is a bridge sceen in my future (!)AJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14941941493844549728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6651110500363613502.post-56219847537720806402009-02-09T08:43:00.000-08:002009-02-09T08:43:00.000-08:00My favorite! Because I remember debating almost every Saturday, watch Anne or practice, and I always chose Anne over my fluting abilities. Over the course of 2 years of living there together, and watching it once a week, that's a lot of times. (I'm too tired to do the math. Someone else figure it out.) I got those movies for Mother's Day last year. I haven't bothered pulling out the last thingy with the war and Anne and Gilbert being way too old. I never will.Rachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03765577345097519255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6651110500363613502.post-40850328103289001272009-02-06T17:39:00.000-08:002009-02-06T17:39:00.000-08:00I like the movies, but really, you know I have str...I like the movies, but really, you know I have strong feelings about filmmakers altering books - enormously popular books - to their own liking. The books were popular for a reason. Don't mess with something that works.Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05703504627514627187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6651110500363613502.post-71975542365376861182009-02-06T17:18:00.000-08:002009-02-06T17:18:00.000-08:00Amen, Sista....the gazebo scene also merits rewind...Amen, Sista.
...the gazebo scene also merits rewinding a few times.Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04900489172926812463noreply@blogger.com
