I have confidence...that this will be dreadful.

Excuse me while I vomit over this.

So it's bad that Carrie Underwood has been cast as Maria VonTrapp.  But what is worse is that someone thinks that they need to remake The Sound of Music.  Why don't they just remake the Sistine Chapel while they're at it?

Let's not even think about who will be cast as the Captain.

NNnnnnnnnoooooooooooo!!! Is nothing sacred? What is with all of this remaking lately. Just because it isn't in high def doesn't mean that it isn't perfect. Auurrgh.

I literally just read that article before I checked your blog. Here's the thing, judge me if you must, but I kind of like Carrie Underwood. But when I saw that she was playing "Maria" I wasn't exicted. If I hear one twang on Climb Every Mountain I will be very mad.

This is very sad. Do you remember the re-make of The Music Man with Matthew Broderick? Not my favorite. Keep the originals. So sad.

This made me actually anxious. Like, anxious like there was something wrong in my life. Which, I suppose, there is.

This is the worst news I've heard all day. I might have to stand outside the theater with a giant sign and protest mightily.

You'd think I would find it hilarious when someone gets wind of my "best practical joke casting ever" lists and then does them for real. But just like watching ice cream melt when I put it in the microwave, it isn't.
