Canoe Dancing? YES!

The Lovely Liz shared this with me and I had to pass it on.  Because it will change your life.

I will be up at camp in 2 weeks where there will be canoeing. Which means that in 2 weeks I will be embarking on my new career as a canoe dancer. I got my eye on you Marc Orstein.

I never would of thought watching a youtube video about canoeing would remind me of my prom, cuz I'm pretty sure I danced to that song.

I vote that our Knecht Family Christmas Party be at Prado Park this year so our sister performance can be canoe dancing. We can have Chris bedazzle our oar's. I will get to work on the choreography.

While I was slightly embarrassed to be watching this, I'm impressed at Mr. Orstein's dedication and grace. My favorite parts were the parts where the audience ohh'ed and aww'ed when they obviously knew that he was doing something difficult. What a sport!

Oh my gosh, I love that everyone is clapping so politely for him. It's the sport you never knew existed that probably never should have existed that probably never will exist in the minds of most people, but we, your readers, are the enlightened few. Thanks Rachel. And thanks Mr. Orstein.

WHY IS HIS BOAT NOT RED?!

That is one classy sport. I'm hoping it makes it into the next Olympics. And I love this song. It makes me want to slow dance in a stinky dark gym.

Oh. My. Gosh. I love that people do this! Thank you for enlightening us! But I do have to agree with Courtney: Why didn't you paint your boat red, Mr. Ornstein?!?

Worst song choice ever? "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" seems more apropos.
