Inconvenient

Do you know when a really inconvenient time to get the stomach flu is?  When you are in charge of a cub scout pack meeting and a girls camp pre-camp orientation on back to back nights.  Yes, my friends, very inconvenient.  I have spent the last 2 days trying my hardest not to vomit and/or pass out while talking to large groups of people.  These past 48 hours have reaffirmed my belief in miracles, ginger ale, anti-bacterial wipes and my mule-headed determination to never throw up.

Rachel, not throwing up when you need to throw is is gross, and makes me want to throw up just thinking about it.

Also, I hate being sick at inconvenient times, because it sort of robs you of the sick experience, when all you want to do is just lay around and moan.

What? You weren't in Utah! How could this have happened? I really hope that after it was all over you got to crash in bed and ignore the world until you felt better. Maybe, since you got the flu now, you won't get it when I cruise into town in May. I will be eschewing sick people with a firm hand leading up to the week we will see each other. Get better soon. I feel for you, sister friend.

Wow, that awful stomach bug must really like you. And it seems like it always comes at the most inconvenient times for you. I hope you feel better. When you do you should ease into eating by treating yourself to some Golden Spoon.

Val - I would have gladly barfed but it was not an option. Because I'm not one who can just do it and get on with my life. It becomes an Event. If I open that gate it does not close for hours and hours and hours and is usually accompanied by sobbing on a bathroom floor. Sadly, I did not have that luxury.

Stacy - and thus, the miracle. Plus I was wearing blush. It helps.

Rac - May!

Andrea - right now even Golden Spoon is making me reach for the ginger ale.

Rachel- get a bottle of 'charcoal' from Sprouts....it sucks up all the bad stuff in the stomach.

I have heard that a lot of people have been getting this....please, please, please don't come my way:)
