Olympic Mustache

When Camille and I saw each other last night, after Andy Murray won the gold medal, we hugged and congratulated ourselves.  Because long ago we saw him play at Indian Wells when he was just a kid and we loved him then and have watched him there every year since (except for this year.  Don't get us started.) and we feel like part of that gold medal is ours.  In a symbolic sense, of course.  I'll start excepting endorsements now.

In other news:  The gold medal winner for the skeeviest mustache goes to this guy:

Tomas Gonzalez, a Chilean gymnast.

Whilst searching for his picture on the internet I came across this gem:

I do not know whose hand he is shaking but I'd like to shake it too.  He's like a bleached, permed My Little Pony.

Mustache's floor routine was the best. It had the most pizzazz.

By far.

I'm glad I have that mustache to look forward to. I'm like 18 hours behind on my Olympics. Thanks for the laugh. Mustache and Mr. Party Hair just made my day.

I just watched mustache boy. What you can't tell from the picture is that he has his eyebrow pierced. Does that seem like an odd combination of facial ornamentation to anyone else? Also, I cried a little bit when the British gymnast that looks like Prince didn't get the gold in pommel horse. He got the shaft.

Please tell me you saw his vault! The commentator even said, "he has an interesting running style" before he ran down to vault. As soon as I saw the mustache, I knew he was a winner. =)

The Mustache seems REALLY happy to be shaking hoofs with the Pony, too...
