Before my unemployment paperwork could even be processed.

Let me tell you about yesterday:

I ate breakfast in my jim-jams while watching an old movie. I organized my desk. I got a job. I went to the temple and then out to dinner with some friends from the ward.

Um, did you miss that? I got a job! In a week! I'll be the HR specialist at an employment agency. What experience do I have in HR? About as much experience as I had pulling ears for a loony chiropractor. Which means plenty of stories to follow.

And I will give you a little taste of what is in store. My boss's name is Chiquita. CHIQUITA!!!!

Hooray for employment! I'm sure that the fact that you had plans to go to the temple factored in. Good job. And it's amazing how you can manage to find a job with a boss named Chiquita. Too good. Only you could find an HR job with some spice. You know that means you're Toby.

Congrats! Rachel. We should go to the temple together sometime! I wonder what your boss will dress up as for Halloween...?

Going to the temple does wonders for finding a job! It's how we were only unemployed for 2 months after Ryan graduated instead of like six or a year. Congrats!

I think you should bring your boss a banana on your first day of work, just put it on her desk kind of like in Christmas Story when the kids bring their teacher an apple! It would be awesome! I triple dog dare you!

Congrats on the new job!!

Congratulations! I don't know if I'm more excited for you getting a job or more excited for me being able to read your stories about this Chiquita. Can't wait!

Congratulations! I once worked with a Chiquita - but she pronounced it Chi-qwee-ta.

Good luck working in HR! It's mostly problem solving - which you would be amazing at considering all the ears you've pulled.
