There's a guy at my gym who looks like Jake Ryan. Or Al, from the Al Movie (actually Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken but we only ever called it the Al Movie because that's the reason for watching.)
So because I love you and because I read an article today that said that PMS is all in our heads which made me want to do nothing but sit on my couch with a bowl of ice cream and watch 16 Candles, here you go:

Great way to start the day for me! I love how the cars part just as the music starts up. Perfect! But, my favorite favorite part is right after this where they're sitting on the table and he says "make a wish" and she says "it already came true"! I LOVE THAT PART!!!!!

He's lovely. The great mystery to me has always been why in the world he would like her. That goes for every movie Molly ever did.
Oh Al. How I love Al. And now I know what movie I will be watching this afternoon while I fold laundry. And I have always loved that scene in 16 Candles. Also, I second the above comment. What's the big deal about Molly Ringwald?
